Top SchoolSyed Ali is a Senior Data Engineer with 15 years of experience designing and operating enterprise-grade data platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP and Snowflake, currently based in Plano, Texas. He specializes in Medallion architecture, high-performance ELT/ETL pipelines (PySpark, Databricks, Glue), and robust data governance and observability using tools like Great Expectations, Airflow, and Terraform-driven CI/CD. Syed has driven multi-cloud migrations and built production feature engineering and ML data foundations that improved network performance and reduced downtime in telecom and large-scale event environments. He routinely translates complex telecom OSS and drive-test sources into dimensional models and analytic warehouses while leading cross-functional design reviews and mentoring teams on SCDs and automation. Notably, he blends deep telecom performance insight with cloud-native engineering—often surfacing operational gains (e.g., 15% network improvements) from infrastructure and data pipeline optimizations.

For SaaS applications it is sometimes important to show the resource URL to be sequentially incrementing and starting from 1. In a standard Rails app, the id's are unique to the whole system, however when the need is to make the id look unique to each company thats signed up, this is the gem!
