Takanori Maehara is a senior software engineer in London with 14 years of experience bridging theoretical computer science and production-scale machine learning. He led research teams at RIKEN and published foundational work on discrete optimization and submodular maximization, then applied that rigor at Meta building a graph neural network framework that scaled to billions of nodes and hundreds of billions of edges. At Meta he also contributed to recommendation systems (Reels) and mentored interns, and now applies his research-to-production mindset at Roku. Comfortable oscillating between deep theory and large-scale engineering, he has a PhD from The University of Tokyo and a track record of turning novel algorithms into deployable systems. An uncommon blend of academic leadership and production ML engineering, he often brings optimization-centric perspectives to practical problems. His personal motto—“Whatever will be, will be”—hints at a pragmatic, resilient approach to complex, uncertain systems.
This is a derived of mikoCppLibraries that included modern-style container, iterators, utilities, helper and feature of creating code by template meta programming. This project is still in development stage so it is not stable.
