Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolTejas Kumar is a Developer Advocate based in Berlin with 11 years of hands-on engineering and developer relations experience, currently shaping DevRel at IBM and advising startups like Orama. He’s built devrel teams and programs from scratch—most notably scaling Xata’s developer org as employee #6—and has led developer experience efforts at Vercel and Backstage at Spotify. A lifelong coder who started programming at eight and has been public speaking since 2012, he blends technical depth with polished storytelling to help companies engage developers effectively. Tejas also invests in and advises early-stage startups, bringing an operator’s lens to product-market fit and community building. Comfortable across front-end, platform, and generative AI domains, he pairs pragmatic engineering with strategic advocacy to move projects from launch to sustainable growth. An often-understated strength is his ability to translate large-scale internal platform needs into developer-facing narratives that drive adoption.
