Top SchoolTerrence Chen is a healthcare AI entrepreneur and CEO based in Cambridge, MA, with nine years in leadership and over two decades of research and product experience in computer vision and medical imaging. He founded UII America to build AI that empowers physicians, radiologists, surgeons, and medical devices, drawing on senior roles at Siemens Healthineers and Siemens Corporate Research where he led vision technologies, diagnostic imaging automation, and intervention-focused AI. Terrence blends deep technical expertise from a PhD in computer science with executive training from Wharton to translate advanced research—spanning image analytics, 3D vision, and surgical assistance—into clinical products and ecosystems. Known for building collaborative, talent-focused teams, he emphasizes a culture where people can challenge themselves, learn, and be rewarded for impact. An underappreciated strength is his sustained focus on end-to-end systems that connect device-level AI with partner ecosystems, not just isolated algorithms.
