Summary
Teun Verkerk is a designer-founder who blends interaction design, architecture and technology to create interactive public spaces, objects and experiences, with a decade of hands-on experience leading arts & tech programmes and maker initiatives. As Co-Founder and Program Lead of Maker Faire Delft and Founder/Artistic Director of Highlight Delft he directs strategy, partnerships and curation while building prototype-driven R&D projects and residency programmes at TU Delft’s Science Centre. His work—ranging from the ubiquitous sound installation Buqs to the kinetic light swarm ledwork—examines how IoT and sensing can reframe social encounters and public perception.
