Senior🎓
Top SchoolThéo Matricon is a postdoctoral researcher at Inria with nine years of experience at the intersection of program synthesis, code generation, variability, and benchmarking/cost optimization. He completed a PhD focused on scaling domain-agnostic techniques for program synthesis and has published across AI, formal methods, and software engineering venues. His background blends deep reinforcement learning experiments, spiking neural net simulator development, and hands-on research engineering—he has supervised research engineers and interns and led comparative algorithm studies that informed conference papers. Based in Brittany, he brings both academic rigor and practical implementation skills, with an engineer’s degree from ENSEIRB-MATMECA and an ERASMUS stint at KU Leuven, and tends to pursue the “next interesting problem” rather than incremental work.
