Top SchoolTheodore Chaikalis is a seasoned software architect and engineering leader with 18 years of experience bridging academia and industry, currently heading Developer Relations at Mysten Labs to grow the Sui ecosystem. He combines deep technical expertise in Java EE, microservices, and cloud-native architectures with hands-on leadership of global teams that convert developers into production-ready builders. His Ph.D. research on software quality and evolution—applying graph theory to detect design problems—underpins a data-driven approach to architecture, modularization, and maintainability. Theodore has led high-visibility integrations (e.g., Red Bull Racing, Athens Stock Exchange), designed large-scale government and banking platforms, and established CI/CD and quality practices across complex codebases. As an adjunct lecturer, he continually translates the latest industry trends into curricula and bootcamps, uniquely positioning him to scale developer education and technical enablement. Based in Thessaloniki, Greece, he blends rigorous academic insight with pragmatic delivery to drive sustainable ecosystem growth.
