Summary
👤
SeniorThiago Menezes is a Lead Software Engineer based in Ireland with over a decade of hands-on experience designing and delivering distributed .NET systems, from high-conversion ecommerce checkout platforms to event-driven, multi-tenant services. He combines deep expertise in .NET architecture, multithreading, messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud-native practices including Kubernetes migrations and Cosmos DB live migrations with a strong emphasis on SOLID design, unit testing, and CI. As an engineering lead at ESW and now DraftKings, he has driven analytics, A/B experimentation, and operational improvements that reduced production defects and improved observability. He’s equally comfortable architecting back-end services and coordinating cross-functional teams through complex platform changes. An avid learner, Thiago continually experiments with new technologies in personal projects and stays current through conferences and technical content. Less obvious: he has repeatedly executed zero-downtime data migrations and coordinated large-scale infrastructure moves while keeping feature delivery on track.
