Thiago Sobral is an enterprise architect and open source evangelist with over 26 years of experience designing revenue-driven, mission-critical IT ecosystems across Latin America and globally. Currently at Oracle’s Public Sector practice and an LPI board director, he specializes in harmonizing open source flexibility with enterprise governance to scale partner and ISV networks into brand-driving revenue engines. His background spans strategic roles at IBM, SUSE, and Red Hat where he delivered double- and triple-digit regional growth by enabling ISVs, distributors and partners to modernize applications on platforms like Power, OpenShift and cloud. A hands-on engineer as well—he’s contributed bug fixes and refactors to the OpenStack Swift storage project—he blends technical depth in infra, security, cloud, quantum and AI with boardroom-level communication. Known for converting complex technical stories into market-oriented narratives, he consistently turns interoperability friction into replicable GTM playbooks. Based in São Paulo, he pairs formal training in systems, sales and even quantum computing with decades of ecosystem-building to drive measurable business impact.
