Top SchoolThomas Curran is an Irish-American technology entrepreneur and seasoned software leader with over three decades of experience building cloud-native platforms, founding seven high-tech ventures, and guiding Fortune 500 technology and media firms. As founder of Ory and current head of Build AI Labs at Alembic Technologies, he blends hands-on engineering and open-source stewardship with strategic product and go-to-market leadership, having scaled Ory to $1M+ ARR and enterprise customers like OpenAI and MistralAI. He now advises private equity and startups on AI cloud infrastructure, software supply-chain security, and product transformation while actively angel investing in AI-first software for enterprises and prosumers. A prolific board and advisory member across companies from Deutsche Börse to ReversingLabs, he brings rare experience spanning low-level systems, identity/privacy-first platforms, and large GPU cloud deployments. Notably, his background includes driving Hybris’s cloud pivot prior to its SAP acquisition and helping build one of Europe’s largest neo-cloud GPU clusters, signaling deep operational know-how in scaling both software and infrastructure.
