Thomas Houhou is a security researcher and founder of DeepProof with a decade of hands-on experience finding vulnerabilities across smart contracts, blockchain nodes, web apps and AI systems. Based in Zürich and currently pursuing a Master's in Cyber Security at ETH Zürich, he has a strong independent track record through bug bounties and responsible disclosures for organizations such as Chainlink, OpenAI, Anthropic, X, MetaMask, Swisscom and the US DoD. His findings include a CVE for Project Jupyter and dozens of accepted reports for Swisscom and X, and his novel web-attack research was highlighted in PortSwigger’s "Top 10 Web Hacking Techniques of 2024." A regular speaker and blogger, he combines offensive testing with practical remediation guidance and has been invited to brief internal security teams on his discoveries. Notably, his work has influenced security guidelines for major open-source projects, demonstrating impact beyond individual bug fixes.
