Senior🎓
Top SchoolThomas Peyrard is a Senior Software Engineer with 11 years' experience designing high-performance distributed storage and in-memory database systems, currently working on distributed storage and systems at Apple. He has deep expertise in Java, concurrency, low-latency architectures and a proven track record at Murex of improving database throughput and latency by orders of magnitude through lock-free structures, temporal indexing and write-ahead logging. At Criteo and previous roles he built full-stack services and tooling across C#, Python, Angular, Kafka and CI/CD, often bridging research ideas into production-ready pipelines. He favors rigorous benchmarking, continuous refactoring and daily pair programming as practical ways to sustain performance and code quality. An avid reader and implementer of research papers, he intentionally builds databases and tooling himself to anticipate corner-case production challenges most engineers only discover later. Based in the Greater Paris area, he blends R&D curiosity with hands-on delivery in large-scale, mission-critical systems.
