Senior🎓
Top SchoolThorbjørn Andersen is a seasoned IT infrastructure specialist and senior Java engineer with 16 years of experience building resilient backend systems and operating on-prem Kubernetes/Rancher platforms. He bridges deep backend development (Java, C#, databases, network communication) with hands-on DevOps — designing CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments and automated installers for embedded Linux systems. His career ranges from digital preservation and enterprise transport systems to modernizing legacy stacks and shipping microservices, and he frequently mentors junior engineers. Notable strengths include pragmatic tooling (Docker, OpenShift/ArgoCD, Jenkins), technical writing, and a track record of converting legacy builds and repositories into maintainable, CI-driven workflows. Based in Copenhagen, he holds a Master's in Computer Science and brings a knack for marrying low-level Linux scripting with scalable cloud-native practices.
