Top SchoolTristan Havelick is a Staff Software Engineer with over 13 years of experience transforming unstable, hacked, or undocumented web systems into maintainable, production-ready products. Based in Arvada, Colorado, he brings deep hands-on expertise across ASP.NET (C#), Classic ASP, JavaScript, and Python, along with substantial experience designing and operating multi-tier web deployments on both Unix-like and Windows platforms. He has a consistent track record of rapid turnarounds—improving performance, automating deployments, and cutting server provisioning time dramatically—while also recruiting and mentoring high-quality engineers. Tristan’s background spans individual consulting to leadership roles, including long tenures as Engineering Manager and Principal Engineer at FormSwift and Inflection, where he balanced people management with technical ownership. Notably, he built practical migration and automation tooling (COM+ migration utilities, ASP-to-ASP.NET bridges) that reduced operational friction and accelerated releases.
