Trond Husø is an investigative sports journalist turned developer who has spent the last 20+ years building data-driven systems and running antidopingdatabase.com, the world’s most comprehensive database of sanctioned athletes used by journalists, lawyers and researchers. Combining deep domain expertise in anti-doping rules, sanctions and banned substances with hands-on engineering skills (C#, PHP, Python, MySQL, AWS, XML/XSLT), he designs and programs end-to-end solutions on Linux/Apache stacks. He started the Anti-Doping Database in 2005 to bring transparency to a fragmented field and has been cited by major media for making hard-to-find sanction data accessible. Based in Oslo, Trond also consults and builds web and sports-data integrations, with a background at NTB where he developed large-scale sports result distribution systems and contributed to SportsML/SportsJS standards. Not obvious at first glance: he blends newsroom instincts with production-grade engineering, so his products are driven by journalistic needs for trustworthy, auditable data.
