Top SchoolTyler Nix is a product manager and former engineer with five years of experience building authorization, identity, and cloud solutions across startups and Fortune 5 enterprises. At Okta he leads Auth0 Fine Grained Authorization and contributes to OpenFGA, aiming to make authorization as standardized and scalable as authentication. His background spans frontend engineering, cloud architecture, and solutions engineering—giving him a rare ability to translate developer pain points into resilient, production-ready products. He co-founded technical efforts at Finch to simplify employment data APIs and previously championed cloud adoption and developer experience at ExxonMobil. Outside of work he pursues hands-on, unscalable hobbies—from bonsai to birding—that reflect his curiosity-driven approach to problem solving.
