Senior🎓
Top SchoolTyler Sedlar is a Software Engineer III with 11 years of hands-on experience building full-stack web applications and backend services across Java, Kotlin, Node.js, Python, C#, and TypeScript. Currently at TechnologyAdvice after a promotion from DZone, he has shipped CMS scheduling features, NLP-based spam detection, ontology-driven article tagging, and admin dashboards that blend engineering with product-driven design. Comfortable across the stack, Tyler pairs server-side expertise (Spring/Hibernate, GraphQL, Express) with modern front-end work (React, Angular, Vue) and UI design collaboration via Figma. He has a history of remote plugin development and bytecode work, showing deep curiosity about runtime behavior and extensibility. Based in Chandler, AZ, he brings pragmatic problem solving, strong client communication from prior consulting roles, and a lifelong appetite for learning that extends into music, gaming, and athletics.
