Top SchoolTyler Stalder is a front-end-focused software engineer with 15 years of experience building web-first solutions that make technology more accessible and usable. Based in San Francisco, he has shipped content and workflow tools as the sole dedicated front-end engineer at Last, experimenting with stacks that blend AmpersandJS/backbone derivatives, React, SASS, and Node to enable rapid prototyping and small backend services. His background spans startups, non-profits, and enterprise environments—including Singly, Code for America, and Koch Industries—giving him a practical grasp of integration and product-driven engineering. Tyler prefers reusable component-driven architectures and server/client rendering strategies that speed delivery while keeping maintenance light. He holds a BA in Information, Networking, and Telecommunications and complements his technical focus with business studies from Wichita State. Colleagues rely on him for pragmatic problem solving and for turning editorial and CMS needs into elegant front-end experiences.
