Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolUsman Farooqi is a Software Developer II with nine years of professional experience building cloud-native services and developer tooling across Microsoft, DoorDash, and internships at Nokia and Magnetospeed. He blends backend engineering (Python/Django, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) with embedded systems experience in C/C++, demonstrating a knack for accelerating iteration cycles—e.g., cutting deploy/test time via Jenkins pipelines and doubling test coverage through TDD. Based in Seattle, he has shipped production services for large-scale platforms at Microsoft and now contributes to DoorDash’s engineering efforts while also working within Azure customer experience contexts on GitHub. Comfortable spanning hardware-to-cloud stacks, he surfaces practical prototypes into production-ready systems and has repeatedly influenced technical direction during early-stage projects. Usman is seeking a full-time software engineering opportunity where he can apply his cross-domain experience to build reliable, test-driven, and deployable systems at scale.
