Top SchoolUtibeabasi Akaninyene is a Developer Relations Engineer and founder with 11 years of experience building resilient, production-grade systems and improving developer workflows. Based in Lagos, he has led cross-functional teams to deliver major products, migrate monoliths to Go microservices, and cut latency and downtime through containerised deployments and observability. He designs developer tooling, sample code, and boilerplates to accelerate integrations while serving as a bridge between external developer communities and internal product roadmaps. Earlier roles across full‑stack and backend positions sharpened his ability to standardise frontend component libraries, optimise APIs, and automate CI/CD with Terraform and GitHub Actions. Known for balancing hands-on engineering with developer advocacy, he quietly blends a passion for craft (“programmer by dawn”) with product-minded leadership that launches tangible platform adoption.
