Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolVadim Smirnov is a Python developer with nine years of experience building backend systems and research-oriented tooling, currently freelancing from Moscow. He combines practical expertise in FastAPI, NumPy, PostgreSQL and bioinformatics libraries like Biopython with low-level and legacy experience (ASM, Fortran) that informs robust, performance-minded solutions. His background includes roles from lab assistance at ITAE RAS to software research and lead engineering, plus production scripting with batch, VBScript and SQL. Vadim’s interests bridge cybersecurity and biological computing—reflected in tooling hints (kerbrute, dnstool.py, rpcdump.py) and an academic foundation from MIPT in applied mathematics and physics. He favors quality-driven development aimed at future requirements that are not yet documented, applying research instincts to ambiguous engineering problems.
