Vaijanath Angadihiremath is an engineering manager with two decades of experience delivering cloud-native infrastructure and AI-focused firmware services, currently leading firmware strategy and microservices modernization for OCI at Oracle. He combines hands-on cloud engineering—demonstrated by significant contributions to Azure quickstart templates, the Terraform AzureRM provider, and Packer—with leadership that accelerated GPU firmware delivery by 65% and improved service reliability. At Microsoft he led large-scale cloud migrations and built automation like a Go-based image builder and Terraform best practices for enterprise clients. He brings a rare blend of low-level C++ performance work, cloud DevOps, and machine learning education (UW certificate, MS from UIUC), enabling pragmatic solutions from firmware to orchestration. Known for improving CI/CD and DevOps workflows to enable weekly releases, he also serves as a technical hiring bar-raiser, having interviewed 100+ candidates to raise engineering quality.
