Top SchoolValent Turkovic is a technology entrepreneur and CEO with 14 years of experience building hardware-software products across 3D printing, telecommunications, and embedded systems. He leads 3D Tvornica and Crisis Innovation Lab, where he developed MeshPoint — a smart IoT gateway and WiFi hotspot for smart cities and disaster relief — blending systems architecture, OpenWrt firmware work, and field-deployable networking. Valent’s background ranges from fiber-optic network engineering and regional technical leadership to hands-on embedded hardware design and air-quality sensor integration, giving him rare end-to-end fluency from boards to cloud. Based in Munich, he combines business development and operations chops with technical skills in Linux administration, ethical hacking, and WiFi, and he’s run long-standing community initiatives like Osijek Wireless. Colleagues value him for turning complex infrastructure challenges into pragmatic, deployable products used in harsh real-world environments.
