Top SchoolVardges A is a Principal Software Engineer based in New York with over a decade of product and mobile engineering experience and four years in senior principal roles. He has led cross-functional teams at Facebook, Stripe, and Snap, driving measurable wins like significant app size reductions that prevented millions of MAU churn and shipping new iOS experiences from prototype to production. At Stripe he contributed to the widely used stripe-ios SDK, improving payment card validation and adding integrations while maintaining test coverage—signal of hands-on work in high-stakes financial flows. His background spans founding a neighborhood-focused startup acquired by Twitter to building core client-side systems for Moments and location services, blending startup grit with enterprise-scale delivery. Vardges pairs technical leadership with recruiting and community-building (100+ interviews, large NYC mobile forum), and he’s comfortable shipping product-facing mobile features and infrastructure. He holds advanced IT study from HKUST and a computer science degree from Yerevan State University, bringing a global perspective to engineering and product.
