Top SchoolVashon Mavrinac is a data-focused software engineer and University of Washington computer science student with nine years of hands-on experience building full-stack systems and leading small engineering teams. Currently a Data Engineering Intern at Copper, he has designed engagement campaigns for 350,000+ users and shipped telemetry and web platforms using Next.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and Python. He’s led projects at student organizations and startups—reducing telemetry latency from 5s to <1s for UW’s solar vehicle and architecting a multi-device low-latency audio streaming system with custom HTTPS tooling. Comfortable across front-end, back-end, and DevOps tasks, Vashon pairs product-minded development with practical operational know-how and a knack for teaching teammates new technologies. Fun aside: his GitHub handle dates back to when he was 11, reflecting a long-standing curiosity for coding.
