Senior🎓
Top SchoolVasily Philipov is a senior software engineer with over a decade of experience building high-performance networking and storage drivers for SmartNICs and Ethernet switches. He has driven low-level Linux driver development at Mellanox/NVIDIA—working on NVMe/NVMf and VIRTIO—and now architects firmware and software for next-generation Ceragon switches based on Marvell AlleyCat5X. Known for deep expertise in DPDK, RDMA and kernel-space/firmware integration, he consistently delivers production-grade code that bridges hardware capabilities with open-source ecosystems. Trained at the Technion in computer science, he combines rigorous engineering discipline with a track record of tackling the hardest pieces of network I/O stacks. An understated strength is his longevity on platform-level code, which reflects a pragmatic focus on reliability and upstream-compatible implementations.
