Summary

Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolVasyl Purchel is a versatile software engineer with over a decade of professional experience, currently building products at Workday after prior engineering roles at Wonga and as a Scrum Master at Softheme. He brings strong systems and desktop expertise—C#, C++, multithreading, Windows and Linux environments—combined with hands-on experience in web stacks (PHP, Rails-ish tools) and RDBMS/SQL. Comfortable across the lifecycle, he has written test documentation, user guides, and shipping production services including Windows services, REST APIs, and message-driven systems. His background as a freelance developer and early game/web projects shows an ability to move quickly between requirements, design, and delivery in small teams. Colleagues would note his analytical troubleshooting, fast learning curve, and habit of pairing practical implementation skills with process-oriented roles like scrum facilitation. Based in Ireland, he blends low-level engineering discipline with product-focused delivery in enterprise settings.
