Senior Software Engineer at Unity Technologies

Summary
🤩
RockstarVenkatesh SC is a Senior Software Engineer based in Singapore with over 8 years of experience designing and implementing high-performance systems, real-time graphics, and networked multiplayer architectures. He has driven complex engine and pipeline work at Unity Technologies—authoring 2D triangulation/refinement tools, multi-threaded sprite batching and skinning systems, and large-scale AssetDatabase refactors—and previously led core networking and matchmaking architecture for Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Online. His background includes technical leadership on large sports titles at Electronic Arts, where he built deterministic simulation engines, optimized rendering for low-end hardware, and designed robust client-server state layers. Venkatesh combines deep low-level systems and graphics expertise with practical tooling and pipeline improvements, and is comfortable shipping cross-platform solutions across Windows, Linux, and Mac. Less obvious: he has repeatedly tackled both engine-level algorithms (cache-aware stripification, scene-graph unification) and production operational concerns (asset DB design and async texture upload), making him a rare engineer who spans researchy algorithms to scalable production systems.
