Senior🎓
Top SchoolVictor Faucon is a Senior Software Engineer based in Paris with 8 years of experience designing backend systems and data pipeline architectures for high-throughput production environments. He has built scalable ML and embedding pipelines at The New York Times, handled tens of thousands of daily payment transactions at Acast, and architected Kubernetes-driven, evented ETL platforms on GCP for The Boxoffice Company. Comfortable across distributed systems, orchestration, and observability, he pragmatically replaces heavyweight components (e.g., Celery) with ephemeral, resource-efficient executors to optimize cluster usage. Victor pairs engineering rigor with a background in financial engineering and humanities, bringing both analytical depth and product-minded curiosity to data-intensive problems. Active on GitHub, he blends open-source experimentation (crypto trading algorithms, SPA tooling) with production-grade delivery.
