Senior🎓
Top SchoolVictor Rodriguez is a Senior Ruby on Rails developer with eight years of experience building and modernizing backend systems, payment workflows, and developer tooling from Peru. He blends systems thinking with a full-stack skill set (Ruby, Rails, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, React, TypeScript) to design solutions that are both robust and easy to evolve. Victor has a track record of diagnosing complex performance issues and improving long-term maintainability through better abstractions, testing, and documentation. His background spans fintech and high-traffic publishing platforms, and he has hands-on experience moving monoliths toward modern architectures and improving developer experience. Notably, he pairs engineering work with practical operational impact—writing CLI tools and automation early in his career that cut reconciliation and processing times by large margins. He prioritizes making the next developer’s job easier while continually experimenting with new tools and approaches.
