Senior🎓
Top SchoolVidar Hokstad is a seasoned Director Consultant and fractional CTO based in London with 17 years of hands-on experience delivering cloud-native, scalable backend systems and operational change across startups and enterprise environments. He blends deep DevOps and architecture expertise—AWS, Docker, Terraform—with pragmatic software development in Ruby, Python and JavaScript to turn strategy into reliable production platforms. As a consultant and AI/LLM evaluation expert he now assesses model alignment and security, bringing applied ML oversight to product and operations teams. His career spans founding and technical leadership roles from ISP startup and registrar systems to billing at Yahoo Europe and building investment and CRM platforms for VC workflows. Vidar is comfortable moving between board-level strategy and late-night incident fixes, with a track record of designing resilient systems and mentoring engineering teams through growth and scaling. He pairs an MSc in Computer Science with a practical bias for measurable outcomes, often uniting product needs and infrastructure constraints into pragmatic delivery roadmaps.
