Senior🎓
Top SchoolVijay Purohit is a Senior Software Engineer specializing in image processing and computer vision with 7 years of hands-on experience across satellite, aerial, industrial, and inspection domains. He combines deep learning expertise (TensorFlow/PyTorch/Keras) with systems-level skills in C++, CUDA, edge inference on Jetson/Xilinx devices, and cloud deployments on AWS/GCP/Azure to deliver production-ready, mission-critical solutions. At SkyServe he cut software size by 95% and implemented privacy-preserving model encryption and quantization for orbital and embedded deployments, reflecting a focus on constrained, secure inference. He has repeatedly driven measurable impact—improving model performance by ~20%, boosting operational efficiency by 30–35%, and reducing textile waste by 70%—while building reusable libraries and high-speed inspection pipelines. Entrepreneurial and product-minded, Vijay bridges research and deployment, comfortable spinning up POCs to scaled systems and optimizing pipelines from edge devices to Kubernetes clusters.
