Summary
👤
SeniorVijay Verma is a founder and product-minded designer with 11 years of experience building design systems, consumer products, and indie games. As Founder & Wizard at Overlayz he blends design, code, and game development to help brands like Zomato, Razorpay, Park+, and Feedly craft cohesive visual systems and product experiences. He led creation and stewardship of Zomato’s Sushi design system, typeface and icon library, then pivoted to indie studio work, shipping 3dicons.co and original games through overlayz.studio. Comfortable moving between hands-on pixel work and technical implementation, he also curates a weekly design newsletter and maintains an open-source mindset around toolkits and assets. Based in Mars, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (originally India), he brings entrepreneurial grit from founding multiple studios and a practical maker background that once included working as an electrician. His unusual mix of brand-level system thinking and solo-creator hustle makes him equally effective consulting for large teams and shipping small, delightful products.
