Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolVijayakannan Ayyathurai is an embedded software engineer with nearly two decades of experience specializing in Ethernet dataplane solutions, low-level driver development, and Intel x86 multicore validation for SOHO and data-center applications. He has deep expertise in DMA, MAC/PHY, descriptor-ring management, CQM, and packet-processing subsystems, and has brought up network controllers across Linux and Zephyr RTOS while owning pre-silicon co-verification and post-silicon bring-up. At Intel he upstreamed platform drivers (watchdog, PWM, timer, pinctrl) and contributed an Intel i226 driver to Zephyr and multiple Linux kernel patches, demonstrating a strong upstream open-source footprint. Comfortable in emulation and lab environments, he pairs kernel debugging and board-schematic analysis with Yocto BSP work and scripting for automation. Now based in Penang and transitioning into rack-scale AI data-center networking at Celestica, he blends deep hardware-software integration skills with practical performance optimization and validation instincts.
