Senior🎓
Top SchoolViktor Gsteiger is a forward-deployed software engineer with eight years of hands-on experience building and operating production systems across startups, financial institutions, and research labs. Currently at Palantir in Zurich, he specializes in deploying customer-facing Foundry solutions and bridging data, product, and operations to solve high-stakes problems. His background spans full-stack Java services, cloud-native DevOps (Kubernetes, Terraform, OpenShift), and low-latency C++ work for distributed systems at ETH Zürich. Viktor combines academic rigor—MSc studies at ETH Zurich and UBC and multiple research assistantships—with pragmatic delivery from long-lived commercial codebases and contractor roles. He’s comfortable moving between rapid prototyping in Python/TypeScript and optimizing latency-critical components in modern C++, a mix that helps him both ship features and squeeze out performance. Colleagues describe him as a technical generalist who thrives where systems, data, and customer impact intersect.
