Viktor Vorobev
Budapest, Central Hungary
Summary
👤
SeniorViktor Vorobev is a pragmatic system software tech lead based in Budapest with nine years of experience delivering embedded and full‑stack solutions for commercial products. He blends low‑level embedded C/C++ work and Yocto builds with Python backend services (Flask, FastAPI, asyncio) and TypeScript+Vue frontends, routinely shipping features while fixing performance and memory issues. At Emlid he led a small cross‑functional team, raised test coverage from 50% to 90%, and simplified migration testing from 100+ tests to just 8, demonstrating a focus on quality and efficiency. He also champions knowledge sharing—starting an internal conference and helping build the company knowledge base—to reduce bus factor and improve reuse. Comfortable moving between hardware and web stacks, Viktor is known for turning vague tasks into reliable, well‑documented systems and enjoys learning new technologies to improve team outcomes.
