Top SchoolVinod Kavinda is a Senior Technical Lead based in Melbourne with 11 years of experience building and operating distributed, multithreaded and cloud-native systems. He combines hands-on engineering—contributing bug fixes, reliability enhancements and test automation to notable open-source WSO2 projects—with customer-facing technical account leadership and onsite deployments. At WSO2 he’s repeatedly led architecture reviews, performance troubleshooting and blue-green migrations for large enterprises including BNY Mellon and Transport for London. He helped design runtime components for the cloud-native Ballerina language, including a non-blocking scheduler, reflecting deep systems and concurrency expertise beyond typical integration work. Vinod is comfortable moving between code, diagnostics and customer strategy—often guiding upgrade programs and producing pragmatic fixes that improve production reliability. His background in compiler-like runtimes and production integration gives him a rare blend of low-level systems craft and large-scale operational experience.
