Senior🎓
Top SchoolVirginia Ortiz is a seasoned Front End Developer and Systems Engineer with nine years of experience building responsive, high-performance web UIs, currently focused on React at Globant. She has shipped customer-facing features at scale for platforms like Uber Eats and Cornershop, and has expanded into backend work with GoLang and gRPC to bridge frontend and services. Her background includes leading teams and CMS projects for major publishers, where she combined PHP, React, and custom plugins to deliver tailored, maintainable solutions. Virginia brings a pragmatic focus on performance, reusable component design, testing, and agile collaboration with designers and cross-functional engineers. She balances hands-on implementation with technical planning—writing ERDs and owning estimations—so features are both well-architected and deliverable. Based in Santiago, Chile, she pairs deep JavaScript expertise with an appetite for evolving backend responsibilities and open-source contributions.
