Top SchoolVitalii Shtykhno is a pragmatic software engineer with 11 years of experience building and maintaining full-stack and backend systems across European and remote teams. Currently a backend developer at Open Assessment Technologies in Luxembourg, he has a strong history of improving legacy codebases and shipping new features from his roles at Outmatch, Daxx, Ciklum and others. He brings hands-on expertise in PHP frameworks (Zend, Symfony, Yii), JavaScript front-ends, MySQL and NoSQL design, and has led small teams to improve architecture and operational stability. Comfortable working across the stack, Vitalii pairs technical depth with a coaching mindset honed earlier in training roles and team lead positions. Colleagues would note his steady focus on continuous self-improvement—on the job and through sport—which fuels consistent delivery. Based in Wormeldange, he blends practical engineering with leadership experience in high-maintenance legacy environments.
