Top SchoolVladislav Petrov is a Lead Software Engineer based in Saint Petersburg with 13 years of experience building and operating web services across Ruby/Rails and Elixir/Phoenix ecosystems. He combines backend engineering with QA automation expertise, having delivered integrations, Slack and HR automation bots, reporting services, and migration tooling for enterprise and product teams. Comfortable across Node.js, Angular, Ember, iOS/Swift and CI/CD pipelines, he often bridges product and ops by automating workflows and stitching services together. At Distillery he led integrations (Braze, Hasura/Nest) and built HR-focused automation that leverages Slack modals and modal-driven questionnaires—an example of his knack for pragmatic automation. He pairs hands-on coding with mentoring and internal training (Elixir, iOS), bringing both implementation depth and a taste for cross-disciplinary tooling.
