Top SchoolVojtěch Kohout is a Senior Software Engineer with over 13 years of professional experience and a 16-year history building web applications across PHP, Java, and modern TypeScript/Node.js stacks. He has led development teams and shipped production APIs and custom solutions for clients ranging from Foodora (formerly DameJidlo.cz) to the Czech Academy of Sciences, and currently contributes to DNAnexus. Equally comfortable in backend and frontend work, he values picking the right technology for the problem rather than following trends. He also contributes to the JointJS+ diagramming library and has balanced long-term institutional roles with freelance and part-time open-source work. Based in Vimperk, Czechia, he combines practical engineering with a systems-level perspective that helps projects scale and integrate into research and enterprise contexts.
