Top SchoolVsevolod Trofimov is a Lead Software Engineer based in Amsterdam with 11 years of experience building 0-to-1 products that deliver lasting business value and delighted users. He combines hands-on engineering, product sense, and people leadership—often filling engineering manager and product manager roles to remove cross-functional blockers and scope projects precisely. At Toloka he led the pivot from traditional ML labeling to LLM training-data pipelines, unlocking millions in revenue and shipping per-item processing, embedding deduplication, and LLM-based quality metrics well before mainstream tool-use. He has a strong frontend pedigree from Yandex, where his data-annotation UI reached near-universal adoption and drove significant stability and performance gains. Known for pragmatic experimentation, he shipped agentic tooling and LLM integrations in production ahead of many peers and mentors engineers from intern to senior and beyond. He holds a Computer Science degree from Saint Petersburg State University and thrives on turning complex workflows into scalable, maintainable systems.
