Senior🎓
Top SchoolW Greene is a co-founder and engineer with 11 years of experience building 3D perception, SLAM, and AI systems for real-world robotics and autonomous vehicles. He led an 8+ engineer team at Zoox to develop a voxel-based occupancy network fusing LiDAR, radar, and camera data, dramatically reducing false positives in adverse weather and shepherding models from autolabeling pipelines to production. Earlier work includes founding an ag-robotics perception startup acquired by Zoox, research on large-scale AR localization at Niantic, and real-time monocular SLAM for micro-aerial vehicles, reflecting deep expertise across perception, state estimation, and sensor fusion. Based in San Francisco with a PhD-level background in autonomous systems from MIT and an EE degree from Princeton, he combines rigorous research roots with product-focused delivery. Now building a stealth AI startup, he brings an unusual blend of academic depth, hands-on systems engineering, and demonstrated startup exits.
