Senior🎓
Top SchoolWalter Folini is a Senior React Native Engineer based in Böblingen, Germany with 11 years of professional experience and nine years focused on mobile and web products. He has driven architecture and performance improvements across large consumer apps and enterprise conferencing clients, shipping production React Native apps and leading migrations from REST to GraphQL. At GoTo he worked on video conferencing room clients (WebRTC/WebSocket) and at Wolox he scaled teams and released an app with over 1M downloads, combining hands-on coding with technical leadership. Walter also built developer tooling and bootstrappers to accelerate app delivery and has a track record of improving release pipelines and developer experience. Comfortable across frontend and backend stacks (React, React Native, Ruby on Rails, Express/GraphQL), he mentors peers and embeds best practices into products and processes. His background in QA and backend protocols gives him an uncommon appreciation for robust integrations and observability in mobile systems.
