Top SchoolWalter Galvāo is a growth-focused software leader and founder with 11 years building and scaling web and mobile products from startup scrappiness to enterprise reliability. Based in Vancouver, he blends hands-on engineering (TypeScript, NodeJS, React/NextJS, AWS) with team leadership—having led squads at Neo Financial and EverCommerce and most recently shaping product growth at Currents. He founded Sweetr.dev to improve developer productivity and has a track record of pragmatic platform improvements such as feature-flagging, i18n automation, and performance-tracking frameworks that reduced developer friction and technical debt. Comfortable shipping end-to-end features and architecting standards, he champions developer experience, observability, and release practices that make teams faster and safer. Known for mentoring and process optimization, he often pairs technical proposals with documentation and training to ensure adoption.
