Summary

Senior🎓
Top SchoolWalter Poch is a hands-on Software Engineering Architect with 14+ years building resilient, high-scale cloud and on-premises systems across finance, retail, and IT, currently shaping platform architecture at MuleSoft. He has a strong track record delivering end-to-end products and teams—creating a provisioning product from scratch, automating purchases and delivery, and earning a Culture Builder award for that work. Walter combines deep distributed-systems expertise (microservices, databases, Kubernetes, Spinnaker/Helm) with a customer-centric, business-outcome focus that has reduced deployment times from hours to minutes and enabled self-service production releases. He’s also an experienced incident lead who partners with service owners to measurably improve resiliency and time-to-recover. Based in Miami, he blends a polyglot background (JS, Java, .NET) with practical IoT and B2B interests and a knack for translating legacy systems into scalable modern architectures.
