Top SchoolWanquan Zhang is a software engineer with five years of experience building secure, customer-facing web platforms in the San Francisco Bay Area. He has driven end-to-end projects at Discover—migrating legacy templates to React, implementing Spring Boot backends that process millions of emails and hundreds of thousands of document uploads yearly, and automating deployment and certificate workflows to tighten CI/CD. His work improved NPS and reduced borrower response times, while also delivering measurable gains in SEO, accessibility, and testing efficiency. Comfortable across the stack, he leverages React, Java/Spring, Python, and observability tools like Kibana and Datadog to resolve incidents rapidly. A pragmatic builder, he pairs product-minded front-end improvements with backend reliability and regulatory compliance when designing scalable systems.
