Warren Jin is an integrated photonics researcher and engineering leader with 11 years of cross-disciplinary experience spanning ultra-low-loss silicon nitride waveguides, heterogeneous integration, and system-level optical gyroscope development. He earned a PhD from UCSB where he demonstrated record-low propagation losses, Hertz-linewidth heterogeneous-integrated lasers, and novel dispersion engineering for soliton comb generation, then translated that research into product and production test systems at Anello. Comfortable in both lab and foundry environments, he combines hands-on cleanroom fabrication, photonic design/layout, and optical testbench development with software and automation skills from prior full-stack roles at Amazon, TripAdvisor, and Chalk Talk. Currently advancing integrated photonics for test-and-measurement at Keysight, Warren brings uncommon fluency across device physics, system architecture, and production-grade software for test infrastructure.
