Top SchoolWaseek Ahmed is a pragmatic mobile and backend engineer specializing in Flutter and Ruby on Rails with 4+ years of experience building clean, high-performance mobile apps and SaaS platforms used by 150k+ users. He applies Clean Architecture and state management patterns (BLoC, Provider, Riverpod) to deliver pixel-perfect Flutter UIs from Figma while writing unit, widget, and integration tests and creating native plugins in Kotlin and Swift when needed. On the backend he optimizes Rails apps with Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq and RSpec, cutting API latency and improving scalability through targeted query refactors and observability with New Relic. He designs offline-first mobile experiences using sqflite/Hive, implements real-time features (sockets, GeoJSON navigation) and builds integrations with Mapbox, Slack, and Microsoft Teams. Beyond coding, he brings product-minded delivery from startup and freelance work—co-founding an artist marketplace and shipping hundreds of client projects—so he pairs fast iteration with disciplined CI, PR reviews, and git hygiene. Based in Lahore, he’s focused on shipping reliable cross-platform features end-to-end and building systems that stay performant under real-world load.
