Top SchoolWashington Silva is a Senior Software Engineer based in São Paulo with over a decade of hands-on experience building and modernizing web systems across Ruby, JavaScript, PHP and Python. He has a track record of shipping full-stack products and APIs—most recently adding AI-driven features via OpenAI integrations—while maintaining critical infrastructure like SSO, Elasticsearch and RabbitMQ for production reliability. Washington moves fluidly between frontend and backend, having improved CI/CD, created reusable Rails gems, and driven cultural shifts toward best practices and test-driven delivery. He’s comfortable in distributed, English-speaking teams across LATAM and has mentored junior engineers to raise team quality. A pragmatic problem-solver, he pairs legacy-system modernization experience with a practical focus on data tooling (ETL, scrapers) that directly supports BI and sales decisions.
